5 Ways to Honor Your Angel Baby on Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day is a wonderful day to celebrate love, but it can also be a difficult day for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Whether the loss is fresh or one that happened years ago, holidays can be a painful reminder of loved ones who are no longer with us.
For families who have lost a child, we at Anna’s Grace Foundation want you to know that we are thinking about you and keeping you and your little one in our prayers. Just because they are not here with you today does not mean they are forgotten. Today is a great opportunity to remember your babies and to celebrate the love you have for them.
Here are 5 ways to honor your angel baby this Valentine’s Day:
Make a card. Writing can be therapeutic, and this is a great way to express your love for your angel baby. Store the card in a special place that you can go back to in nostalgic moments.
Plan a special outing for your family. This can be a simple picnic in the park or a formal night out. Talk about your baby and why they made such a special impact on your life.
Light a candle. While it burns, reflect on your experience and pray for continued healing and strength.
Talk about it. Far too often, baby loss is such a taboo topic, so we remain silent. It’s Ok to be sad and it’s Ok to talk about your baby.
Volunteer or make a donation to a charitable organization in your baby’s memory. This is a great way to make a difference and leave a legacy behind for your angel baby.
Happy Valentine’s Day – may your day be filled with love!
